Serrv has some lovely new things for the table and kitchen in warm earth tones, made from natural materials like acacia and mango wood, rattan, raffia, and coconut. A few of my favorites, all of which are under $50:
 |
$45, Thailand |
This Mango Wood turned bowl from the artisans of Thai Tribal Crafts is beautiful, and sculptural enough to display.
 |
$45, Chile |
Serrv offers this set from one of my favorite artisan groups,
COMPARTE. This set of four handled bowls comes in 4 sizes, ranging from 3 1/2" to 7" in diameter. Wood fired and great for side dishes or soups. Oven and microwave safe. A matching lidded crock is also pictured, available for $45.
 |
$26, Phillipines |
From SAFFY Handicrafts in Phillipines a set of two serving boards are made from acacia wood. They have a beautiful grain and smooth finish and would be lovely as a cheese board or with a rustic loaf of bread.
 |
$38, Guatemala |
Made by the artisans of COPAVIC in the Italian tradition, this 9" x 9" hand-blown decanter is made from recycled glass bottles and has a pleasant shape and feel.
Happy Entertaining!
